The 2024 BLCUEF provides an international forum for scholars and practitioners to present cutting-edge research and exchange ideas on issues in economics and finance. We are particular interests in new research topics in economics and finance with emphasis in emerging markets. Our conference is supported by International Review of Financial Analysis (SSCI, Q1).
2024年北京语言大学举办的国际经济与金融会议为学者和从业人员提供了一个就经济学和金融学问题发表前沿研究成果和交流观点的国际论坛。会议重点关注新兴市场下的经济和金融新研究课题，得到了国际期刊《国际金融分析评论》（SSCI，Q1）的支持。

PAPER SUBMISSIONS:
The deadline for paper submission is March 10, 2024 (early submission is highly encouraged). Please submit two PDF files: one with title page including author information (including emails) and one without title page to economics@blcu.edu.cn. Please use “Submission to 2024 BLCUEF” as the title of your email. There is no submission fee. We only consider papers in English (Please refer to paper and citation format on International Review of Financial Analysis). Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by the program committee. The authors will be notified of the review committee’s decision by March 30, 2024.

论文提交截止日期为 2024 年 3 月 10 日（强烈建议尽早提交）。请提交两个 PDF 文件：一个带扉页，包括作者信息（包括电子邮件地址），另一个不带扉页，发送至 economics@blcu.edu.cn。邮件标题请使用 "Submission to 2024 BLCUEF"。提交论文不收取任何费用。我们只接受英文论文（稿件请参考《国际金融分析评论》的论文写作与文献引用格式）。提交的稿件将由项目委员会进行同行评审。评审委员会的决定将于 2024 年 3 月 30 日前通知作者。
PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION:
We welcome participants from both academia and industry. The registration fees will be Renminbi ¥1200. For all presenters and discussants who chose to attend the conference onsite, you are responsible for your own travel and accommodation expenses. We shall provide more information in early April 2024.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
A subset of papers will be invited to submit to the special issues of the International Review of Financial Analysis. Special issue editors (Johnny Chan, Qingbin Meng, and Dawei Qi) will expedite the review process of invited papers by using the regular paper submission standards at these journals. We expect one or more special issues will appear in late 2024. While presenting a paper at the conference is not a prerequisite to be included in a special issue, we give preference to those presented papers.

我们将邀请部分论文投稿至《国际金融分析评论》的特刊。特刊编辑（陈锦全、孟庆斌和祁大伟）将采用期刊的常规论文投稿标准加快受邀论文的审核流程。我们预计将在2024年底出版一期或多期特刊。在会议上展示论文并不是被特刊收录的先决条件，但会优先考虑展示过的论文。
